There are 18 lessons scheduled for the fall and spring semesters (36 total). Tuition for enrolled students is calculated by the semester and then divided into 5 equal payments, due at the beginning of each month. The following tuition rates apply for enrolled students (per semester):
30 minute lessons weekly: $180 x 5 installments per semester ($900)
45 minute lessons weekly: $234 x 5 installments per semester ($1170)
1 hour lessons weekly: $288 x 5 installments per semester ($1,440)
We offer enrolled students two prepayment discount options: 2.5% semester prepayment or a 5% school year prepayment discount (see below):
30 minute lessons: $878 for semester prepayment, $1,710 for school year prepayment
45 minute lessons: $1,141 for semester prepayment, $2,223 for school year prepayment
1 hour lessons: $1,404 for semester prepayment, $2,736 for school year prepayment
A la carte lessons with Jeannie or Brian are calculated monthly @ $50 per 30 minute lesson, $65 per 45 minute lesson, and $80 per one hour lesson scheduled. All summer piano lessons are scheduled and billed as a la carte classes. Payment for a la carte lessons is due at the first lesson of each month.
Discounted A la carte lessons with an Apprentice Student Teacher are calculated monthly @ $25 per 30 minute lesson, $32.50 per 45 minute lesson, and $40 per one hour lesson scheduled.
Split lessons: Lessons may not be split between siblings (i.e. a single one-hour lesson into two 30 minute lessons). However, siblings may alternate lessons weekly. Alternating lessons will be calculated monthly and billed as a la carte lessons. A la carte students are eligible to participate in internal events only (lessons, recitals, and theory classes). Participation in outside events (i.e. festivals and competitions) require formal enrollment in piano lessons.
